These chairs are inspired by the low seats commonly used for manual work or by manual workers in South East Asia. All have a removable acrylic panel so that the background image/pattern can be changed.

As with some of Nick's other projects the chair can be thought of as a sort of mini-platform which is meant to be used in a variety of ways and for a range of purposes.
