Clara Koh

Born in 1982 in Singapore, Clara Koh graduated with a diploma in Product & Industrial Design in 2002 from Temasek Polytechnic. The same year, Clara spent 5 months developing products for IKEA in Sweden as part of a students internship. After graduating, she co-founded HOKO (www.hokostudio.com) with Alvin Ho. Clara has also gained experience through working with FUNdaMENTAL multi-disciplinary, a performing arts group and has since participated in public group exhibitions such as "Design for Change" in 2002 , and "whistle bristle" in 2004 at studio106 in Singapore. Clara presently teaches design methodology part-time to secondary students. In September she will be studying for MA in Experience Design at the prestigious Design Academy Eindhoven, Netherlands. For KuoChuan lifestyles, Clara will present a series of 70 photographs taken between 2005 - 2006, which captures the unique spirit and essence of everyday life in Kuo Chuan.
